There are many opportunities to meet great people and get involved in the community through local organizations for both youth and adults, regardless of your personal interests.
For youth, there are numerous sports related clubs such as horse groups, curling, gymnastics, martial arts, and soccer. Special interest groups include Air Cadets, Girl Guides and Boy Scouts, Boys & Girls club, and 4-H clubs where youth can make new friends, gain new skills, and have a lot of fun!
For adults, sports organizations include square dancing, baseball / softball, volleyball, fitness programs, stock car and snowmobiling. Special interest groups are plentiful as well: Fish Enhancement, Ducks Unlimited, Valley Stage Players, Fine Arts, and the community band are only a few of the options.
Service clubs are also a very important part of the community with groups like the Lions who operate the local recycling program, the Elks who host the annual talent show, and the Kinsmen and Rotary who support numerous activities and programs in the area.
