Manitoba’s property assessment services are now digitally available. Property owners can access their assessment notice by creating an account on the MyPropertyMB digital portal.

Through the portal, property owners have access to enhanced details of their property assessment, such as buildings assessed on their property, characteristics including building age, size, and features that impact the assessed value.

For 2025, the Province of Manitoba has introduced the new Homeowners Affordability Tax Credit (HATC) to replace the previous Education Property Tax Credit Advance and Manitoba School Tax Rebate.

Manitoba homeowners who have self-declared their principal residence will receive the HATC on their property tax bill equal to the amount of school division taxes up to $1,500.

Read the Notice to Manitoba Homeowners - 2025 Homeowners Affordability Tax Credit for more information.  If you did not receive the Education Property Tax Credit Advance in 2024, please complete the Self-Declaration Form and submit it to the Town of Swan River.

Farmland property owners will continue to receive a 10 per cent rebate of the total school division taxes applied directly to their property tax bill.
